Berta Frey founded the company in 1957 as a shoe factory. By now her sons, Reinhard and Helmut Frey, have taken over the management and have led the company to its current leading position. FREYdaytona has been manufacturing motorcycle boots since 1967.

The introduction of the revolutionary safety boot SecurityEvo in 1994 marks a most significant milestone in the company's recent history. This full-blooded racing boot is continuously being further developed and improved in cooperation with leading motorcycle racers. Leisure riders therefore benefit from insights won in racing. Since then, the brand name Daytona stands for innovative and customer-oriented innovations especially in the field of safety.

Motorcycle boots by FREYdaytona are completely handmade in Germany exclusively. The managers personally select raw materials of the highest quality. At this moment, the product range comprises 21 different models, eight of which are equipped with a Gore-Tex membrane.
