Currently about 10.000 students are taught by 358 members of the Tampere University of Technology's teaching staff, while 609 more academic employees exclusively work in research.

Rukka and the TU Tampere have been cooperating closely for years. This cooperation, be it in the development of materials or product testing, forms the basis enabling Rukka's product designers to create first-rate protective apparel from the latest high-tech materials.
